Heber builds on X-PC 1600 success

Heber has sold a substantial number of X-PC 1600 and sales look set to continue. The X-PC 1600 has had extremely positive feedback and meets the changing needs of the gaming and amusement sector. The new product in the Xline range has been complemented on graphic output, efficiency and its compact, stylish casing.

The X-PC 1600 AMD Fusion based controller enables high resolution graphic performance in a compact casing. It can operate with a 32 or 64 bit O/S platform and two graphic outputs (DVI & VGA). The X-PC 1600 is a perfect package that can be sold together with other Heber peripherals. Heber guarantee 5 years of road-map component supply and the system runs with a choice of operating systems such as; Windows XP, Windows 7 and Linux. The X-PC 1600 comes configured with the latest version of Linux 11.04.

The X-PC 1600 is first in a series of new developments that are underway at Heber. The company has worked hard to move technology forward in the gaming and amusement industry and things look set continue this way over the coming months.

The gaming and amusement industry has changed dramatically in the past few years but fortunately Heber has had the foresight to meet changing customer demands. The advent of digital technology and rapid growth of online, social and community gaming has changed the landscape of the amusement and gaming industry.

However Heber is still at the forefront of the gaming sector and won the Queen’s Award for international trade, innovation and sustainable development, which is the highest award a UK business, can receive.

Heber has evolved over time and now products are sold in over half of the countries around the world. It first started exporting out of the UK into the Dutch Market with customer gaming controllers.

Heber has an extremely busy and exciting time coming over the next 12 months, promoting the recent launch of the X-PC 1600 in the Xline range. Product development is underway and there are a number of new projects in the pipeline. The strategic plan is to maintain growth and increase sales revenue, whilst developing a number of new products.
