Following the purchase by Astra Games Limited (part of the Novomatic Group) of the Danoptra Group of companies Gamestec Leisure, Bell-Fruit Games, RLMS Sales and Mazooma Interactive Games, the Astra Board have confirmed that all of the companies within the Astra UK Gaming Group will be represented by BACTA, with immediate effect. We look forward to working to produce positive results for Astra and recognize the strong contribution that they will make to speaking with a single voice to decision makers”.

Zane Mersich CEO of Astra UK Gaming Group commented “All of us involved in bringing together Astra and the former Danoptra companies understand the importance within the wider UK gaming industry of our speaking with one voice to government and we look forward to playing a leading role in taking the UK industry forward through our representation in BACTA.”

Chris Butler, Gamestec’s Managing Director, underlined the importance of Gamestec’s membership of BACTA as part of taking forward the Group’s commercial agenda to deliver the solutions that the UK industry really needs.
