E-Service joins BISL

E-Service is the latest company to become a member of Business In Sport and Leisure (BISL), a trade body which promotes the strategic interests of the amusement and gaming industry to government ministers and departments.

According to Mike Clokie, Managing Director of E-Service, “We have chosen to join BISL and become a member of the Machines Working Group because we want to contribute to the debate about new legislation, technical standards and protocols. We also feel the industry has a stronger voice when members work together and can see BISL being very influential in shaping government opinion about the sector.”

Peter Hannibal, Chief Executive – Business in Leisure for BISL, says “We are delighted that E-Service is becoming a member of the group. Around 75% of companies in the industry are now involved with BISL which gives us a real strength in influencing government opinion, because we can speak with one voice.”

E-Service runs a central maintenance facility which rapidly repairs all types of electrical and mechanical components, reducing the length of time machines are out-of-service. The company has grown in size from three employees to 50 in the last eight years and now operates after-sales functions for manufacturers such as Games Warehouse and Barcrest. “Keeping ahead of legal and technological developments will also help us to plan resources and enhance our service offering for the future”, adds Mike.
