Andrew Ludlow becomes MD of NRM

Former MD of Games Media and Barcrest to lead bingo and adult gaming tech solutions provider
Andrew Ludlow, the former managing director of Games Media and Barcrest, is to make a return to the bingo and adult gaming centre (AGC) industry, joining the growing technology business NRM Group.

Ludlow is joining the board of the East Yorkshire-based systems and technology solutions provider as managing director with immediate effect.  The entrepreneur – one of the original founders of Games Media – also plans to take an equity position in the business.

NRM, which was founded in 1994, provides state-of-the-art networking and communications services to the leisure and gaming sectors from its purpose built facility in Hull.  Its clients include Rank Group, Gala Group, The National Bingo Game Association and other leading AGC and Bingo operators.

Commenting on his appointment, Ludlow said: “I am delighted to be joining the NRM team. They are an incredibly well-respected business with a really talented group of employees and have delivered some fantastic solutions over the years, working closely with market-leading organisations.

“Their core business provides an ideal platform from which to deliver exciting product choice and innovation not only to the Bingo and AGC markets but also other regulated gaming sectors.

“The UK Bingo and AGC markets continue to evolve and search for new ways of driving income whilst delivering even greater levels of consumer experience.  Technology and systems will play a significant role in assisting this delivery, and NRM is developing the required skills, team and focus to ensure it leads this evolution, and I am excited to be assisting them in this delivery.”

Paul Whitbread, executive chairman and founder of NRM, said: “We are very fortunate to have someone with Andrew’s impressive pedigree joining the NRM board, and I am delighted Andrew will be joining as MD, as well as taking an equity holding in the business.

“Andrew brings with him a wealth of experience and industry knowledge, which not only complements the existing team, but also adds significant new strengths.  Those who know Andrew will be aware of his impressive track record, and his ability to bring a no-nonsense, common sense approach to his business ventures.

“We are looking forward to Andrew contributing to our on-going business plan, and helping deliver new ideas, products and alternative choice to the benefit of our customers.”
