Coin-op Community and EAG take show LIVE

In an unprecedented move, EAG is planning to create a live feed from the show floor across all the major social media, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Linkedin, as well as on the EAG and Coin-op Community websites.

“This will increase massively the amount of information that exhibitors and visitors to the show will be able to exchange,” says Peter Rusbridge from organiser Swan Events. “In the past it has been difficult for visitors to be certain that they have found all the exciting products at the show, but now exhibitors will be able to communicate with them right up to and even during the show, making sure that learn everything that is going on. The possibilities offered by social media mean that we can be constantly uploading news, photos, video content and even product brochures for all those at the event and even those who have not been able to attend.”

EAG has chosen Coin-op Community as its partner to deliver the content from the exhibition online and in a daily newsletter. “Coin-op Community is the first online only publication in the UK and it has a unique informal approach to reporting that is ideally suited to social media,” adds Peter. “We are excited to be working with its editor Stephanie Norbury, who is already well known to our exhibitors.”

“Coin-op Community has grown significantly in the last two years and our weekly newsletter has become a must-read for the UK market,” says Stephanie. “This collaboration with EAG is hugely exciting as it will allow us to reach new readers and work even more closely with exhibitors to promote their products.”
