Third show enters fray for January 2013

UK Consumer Shows has announced the launch of The Event & Leisure Show, an event created to offer a showcase for the innovative and world-leading UK Events and leisure industry,  taking place on the 9th & 10th January 2013 at EventCity in Manchester.
EventCity is a new event space facility next door to the Trafford Centre on the M60 and just minutes away from the national motorway network. Four huge halls offering over 28.000 sq mt of floor space and perhaps what is more important – 3000 free parking spaces.
The UK Event & Leisure show is a first for the North West, with many similar shows staged in London expecting event organizers, council employees and charity workers alike to travel the length of the country at times when everyone needs to cut costs. Manchester is very central with many hotels at much cheaper rates than the capital.
“With so many potential visitors based in the top half of the country, it makes Manchester the perfect choice, and with highly competitive space rates we feel we have the right combination for a successful event,” says William Clarke event organiser.
Covering three sections of the industry, the  Event show will take place in hall 1 (3560 sq mt), the Leisure Show in hall 2 (2700 sq mt) and Amusements and Inflatables in Hall 3 (16,000 sq mt)
The Event & Leisure Show will serve the entire spectrum of the outdoor events and event production industry, focusing on temporary structures, staging, lighting & AV, graphics, signage & promotion; security & crowd control; attractions & entertainment; furniture & flooring; ticketing, insurance & medical services, while the Leisure hall will feature products ranging from Fitness equipment, soft play, pool equipment, sun beds, hot tubs, gym equipment and health products.
Amusements and Inflatables will cover all aspects of the amusement industry including travelling Fun Fairs, Theme Parks, coin-operated rides and machines, Inflatables, Fast Food equipment and Prize suppliers.
“As we launch the event we have special early bird rates offering 15% off shell scheme rates and over 20% off space only rates.
The event will be open from 10am each day, and to accommodate visitors who are at work it will remain open until 8pm on day one and will close at 5pm on day two,” adds the organiser.

Good to know that they put it up next the Trafford Centre. I think the place is perfect for the event.
