AMS makes Sound investment

Automatic Machine Services (AMS), based in Westerham in Kent, is an operator with over 50 years of industry experience and yet the company has been pleasantly surprised by the amount of money taken by their V-Hub jukeboxes over the past few months.

“The most important aspect of any equipment supply is the cashbox, and I am pleased to confirm that the average take is very impressive for all our V-Hubs. The locations that have replaced Milestones in Music have seen an average upturn of around 50% and new business locations are also performing very well,” says Jason Jarrett, director at AMS.

AMS has a number of clients who strive to offer their customers the latest jukebox technology. “When the V-Hub was released we knew this would offer them exactly what they wanted plus much, much more,” adds Jason.

AMS currently sites V-Hubs in a mixture of new business locations and existing top-performing locations and gave them extra training to make the most of the new features. “At AMS, we always explain clearly to our clients all the features of each jukebox to ensure we match their requirements with the right product, to maximise income. Our research shows the V-Hub’s are best suited to those locations who require something different, beyond the normal range of music and who have a younger customer base who will adapt to the latest features most easily,” says Jason.

All clients have been very impressed with the V-Hubs especially the speed of downloading on-line tracks and the wide range of music now available for customers to play. AMS plans to continue to invest in the V-Hub product as suitable sites become available.

“Following Sound Leisure’s commitment to “future proof” the software with ongoing additional “apps”, such as the “Last.Fm” feature, I am confident that it will remain a top performing jukebox product for a very long time,” concludes Jason.
