Storm sees blue skies ahead

Storm Games, the midlands based gaming manufacturer, has predicted a buoyant 2012 following record orders from the EAG and ICE shows and a record year of trading in 2011.

Following the launch of several new products in late 2011 on Storm’s new ‘Tempest’ Dual screen cabinet range manufactured at the companies Taiwan plant, Storm has taken on a further 6 staff in recent months to cope with the increase in orders for its range of products for both domestic and export markets.

Commenting on the recent expansion, Managing Director, Richard Sheldon stated “We’ve had to increase our office space to 3000 sq. ft. and we’ve taken on new warehousing facilities in the UK to handle the importing of our ‘Tempest’ range of 19” dual screen and 22” HD  ready dual screen kiosks.”

Sheldon continues “These are exciting times in the industry and with the demise of analogue manufacturing springs the digital opportunity which operators are readily embracing. Our new range of all metal cabinets is manufactured to the very highest quality and this is reinforced by our record level order book.”

“We have over 500 machines already on order for 2012 and we expect this figure to increase significantly over the next 6 months making us one of the largest manufacturers of gaming equipment in the UK. This will take our installed base of digital products passed 1,500 units. ”

Sheldon also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to its existing customers “We are imminently releasing a new update for both our CAT C and CAT B4 range of Thunderbolt re-builds. This is a new four game package and will be followed by a further new game package for Thunderbolt in early summer”. Both software packages will be free to all existing licensed Thunderbolt users.
