Industry first for Sound Leisure

Sound Leisure continued to forge ahead at this year’s EAG show by creating the first video jukebox with high definition output for the pay per play sector.

The P32 AV V-Hub received an extremely positive reaction from visitors to the show and a significant number of orders were taken on the stand. The machine boasts over 7,000 thousand videos on top of the existing V-Hub 7 million audio track music package.

“The AV V-Hub takes our top-end jukebox offering to another level entirely,” said Sound Leisure Managing Director, Chris Black. “It is not just about the quantity of tracks and video’s available to the customer, it is about the quality of the video images created by the HDMI output. This is an industry first.”

Another industry first is Sound Leisure’s ground-breaking agreement with global music discovery giant Last.Fm. This opens up new possibilities for customers to access music they listen to at home while they are out at a venue.

“The way people listen to music at home is changing and our agreement with Last.Fm means that Venue-Hub can reflect people’s new listening habits. By enabling access to playlists created at home and offering suggestions on track selections, the customer experience is more personal and interactive,” adds Chris.

Other innovations launched at the show included a new mid-range machine called ‘Soundwave’ featuring a 19” touch screen. A new premier MIM product “The Pulse,” which will replace the “Jukebox”  Sound leisure’s top selling Jukebox over the past 4 years and the Cig Safe created a great deal of interest with many visitors considering how they could use the product to help secure existing business or assist in gaining new sites.
