Tis the season to make lolly!

Sound Leisure is reporting unprecedented cashboxes over the festive season, for its VenueHub jukeboxes.

“Christmas can be a mixed blessing for jukeboxes, as some sites attract more holiday revellers and others – such as student sites – lose their normal clientele who go home to family,” explains Chris Black. “Yet we were seeing the site average over Christmas break all records. Numerous locations were taking in excess of £475 a week. This included student-based sites and rock venues.”

The VenueHub is Sound Leisure’s most sophisticated jukebox offering, developed to incorporate the latest technology and inspired by the latest online digital music interfaces and hardware. The cashbox takings appear to indicate that operators and site managers are becoming confident in using the many features on the jukebox.

“It is clear that the VHub is really coming together now and we are finding that music-conscious customers are utlising the functions to the full. This is making the customer experience more enjoyable, so in turn people are spending more money on the jukebox. We are thrilled with these impressive results,” adds Chris. “We have developed some new software for VenueHub and this will be unveiled at EAG. As a result, we believe the appeal for this machine will grow even stronger throughout 2012.”
