EAG: book your hotel now
EAG organiser Swan Events is urging visitors and exhibitors at next year’s show to book their hotels fast as the best deals are becoming harder to find.
EAG International Chairman, Martin Burlin explains: ” The EAG International team has been checking the availability of hotel rooms and the truth is that the good deals are disappearing fast. ExCel’s proximity to Canary Wharf, one of Europe’s most rapidly growing financial centres, entertainment hotspots, and the 2012 London Olympics have put unprecedented pressure on hotel accommodation.”
“The area around ExCel is benefiting from the huge shift in focus from west to east side of London that is currently taking place. The ExCel campus is about business and now offers six hotels, The Crowne Plaza Docklands, The Novotel, Ramada Hotel and Suites, ThePremier Inn, The Ibis London ExCel and Aloft London ExCel offering a combined total of 1,400 rooms.
A further 1,900 rooms may be found within a short walking distance. In total, there are over 10,000 rooms within 20 minutes of ExCel.
“The area has benefitted from a £3.5 billion infrastructure overhaul, making it readily accessible by air, road and public transport. For the majority of visitors and certainly for exhibitors it makes perfect sense to stay nearby.”
