Ludlow heads Barcrest following Acquisition Completion

The Barcrest Sale to Scientific Games has finally been completed, ending speculation over delays following the OFT approval of the deal.

As confirmation was made by Barcrest in a statement, it appears there has been a reshuffle at the top and Andrew Ludlow is now Managing Director. Coin-op Community has heard that Tim Kennedy and James Ramshaw have now left the company and Robert White has a new position of Strategy Director but we were unable to confirm these details with Mr. Ludlow before going to press.

The statement said, “We are pleased to announce that earlier today Scientific Games announced the completion of the acquisition of Barcrest Group, a leading supplier of gaming content and machines in the U.K.  Let me be the first to tell you how very pleased we are with this acquisition and how excited we are to have Barcrest as part of our team. The press release announcing the closing of the transaction is attached.

We see tremendous potential from the combination of The Global Draw, Games Media and Barcrest and we believe our combined companies have a significant portfolio of content and capabilities that we look forward to offering to all of our combined customers.

Service delivery is a key priority across each of our companies.  As such, we will continue to provide the highest levels of service that you would expect, both now and in the future.

Further communication will be shared with you in the weeks ahead.  In the meantime, we would like to thank you for your continued support as we bring the businesses closer together.” Andrew Ludlow – Managing Director.
