Further details of BACTA BALPPA partnership at EAG

With two successful years to its credit and buoyant stand sales for 2012, EAG International is rapidly establishing itself as the leading independent exhibition for the European amusements and attractions industries.

It was no surprise then when BALPPA recently endorsed the BACTA organised event by announcing its sponsorship of EAG International. Both prestigious organisations share a long tradition of working together on important issues affecting their members. Indeed, many respected operators and equipment manufacturers are members of both organisations.

The recent announcement therefore served to cement further this historic and productive relationship, paving the way for the show to build on its coin op sector success and develop into a broader market. The sponsorship has been a full 12 months in the planning and represents a significant milestone in EAG International’s development.

Martin Burlin, EAG International’s Chairman, was delighted with the agreement: “We are very proud to be working with BAALPA and immensely pleased to share in its 75th anniversary events which will take place during the 2012 show. There is so much that our associations and industry sectors can share and learn from one another. EAG International is the ideal venue to build upon that.”

BALPPA’s 75th anniversary dinner is scheduled for January 23rd at The Drapers’ Hall and the association has planned for its AGM plus a number of other activities to take place during EAG International.

EAG International has already confirmed that the 2012 show floor is now 76% booked and many of these exhibitors stand to benefit from the appeal to a broader market. EAG International’s extensive marketing campaign will also target the parks and attractions sector, with a number of crucial press partnerships already confirmed.
