Account/Business Development Manager


An exciting opportunity as an Account Manager/Business Development Manager with Gamestec Leisure Ltd based in the North West, one of the largest and most progressive suppliers of coin-operated amusement equipment in the U.K. We are a part of the Novomatic group, a world leader in gaming solutions and supply and operate in a range of public venues, ranging from Public Houses, Licensed Betting Offices, Clubs, Family Entertainment Centres, Bowling Alleys and Holiday Parks. Our business is about providing class leading pay to play entertainment to the licensed and leisure sector.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Account Manager you will be responsible for managing, retaining and developing a portfolio of local accounts and sites. Maximising the profit contribution for your customers and for Gamestec by ensuring all the accounts under your remit achieve the set performance criteria. The successful candidate will be fully responsible for managing and developing the overall commercial relationship with a range of customers.


To help achieve ambitious growth plans for 2017 and beyond, we are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate:


  • A clear understanding of our customer requirements and that of the market sectors in which they trade;
  • Previous experience within the Leisure industry in a customer facing position;
  • A commercial astuteness to benefit Gamestec and its customers;
  • Strong analytical skills and key understanding of commercial contracts;
  • A track record in excellent relationship management.
  • A degree in any subject and with a sales or commercial background
  • Experience in business to business account management in a proactive sales environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to deal with customers in challenging circumstances
  • Ability to deliver to tight and changing deadlines
  • Self-motivated and work under own initiative
  • You will enjoy meeting people, be reliable, trustworthy and well presented
  • Current valid full driving licence as this role involves extensive travelling
