What a wonderful article. I am always fascinated by the history of the amusement industry. Such a community…The pictures were great too and certainly gave an insight in to the past. I loved the egg vending machine! I am sure there would be some Health and Safety rule in the way if we tried to resurrect it! Thank you for the interesting read.

I grew up with Freddie Bailey, it was fascinating to watch his exploits when he was operating around Derby Belper and Nottingham in 1959 to 1965. I learnt a lot from him in those days. Really enjoying the articles . Looking forward to reading the book. ” all my life ” keep ducking & diving Freddie. Regards Warwick..
