EAG unveils new-look website and raft of new features
EAG International is continuing on its mission to be more than just another expo for the industry. Packed with seminars, meetings, networking events and product demonstrations, the 2012 EAG International Expo is set to entertain and inform thousands of professionals from Europe’s amusements, coin-op and attractions industries.
A new-look website is the latest manifestation of EAG International’s philosophy of packing in every ounce of value for visitors and exhibitors, as chairman Martin Burlin explains: “EAG International serves a highly dynamic sector and it is fitting that our website is subject to constant review and remains a valuable resource for all users. The updates and investment we have made are the result of direct feedback from the show’s many stakeholders.”
The trade show’s website has been designed with ease of use in mind. Frequently viewed information such as visitor registration forms, contact details, participating exhibitors and their products, as well as the updated floor plan, are all readily accessible within a few clicks. More comprehensive and detailed information has been made available through a series of carefully selected links with transport, accommodation and entertainment partners. For those needing to know more about the venue, for example, there’s a direct link to the ExCel London website.
“We took the view that rather than cram our site full with information, we would direct the user to a qualified resource. In this way, the visitor to EAG International’s site can access every conceivable piece of information, from details of bars and restaurants at ExCel London to offers at nearby hotels. The visitor can browse travel information, choose their hotel, check prices and then go on to make the booking,” said Burlin.
In addition to maps, local transport and ExCel campus information, a useful link accesses a journey planner which also compares the comparative costs of public and private transport. There’s also advice on purchasing an Oyster Card.
Every aspect of planning a successful trip to the show is now covered by the EAG International Expo website. In addition, regular visitors to the site will find useful press articles and details of seminars, the show party and other networking events.
