Heber: It’s in the Jeans

Heber will be wearing Jeans for Genes to raise money on Jeans for Genes Day.

Staff at Heber will be swapping their usual work clothes for jeans on Jeans for Genes Day 2011 which takes place on Friday 7th October.

The electronics company, which is based in Stroud will also be taking part in a cake sale as well as making a donation of £2 each to wear their jeans on the Day.

Jeans for Genes is the national charity raising money for children with genetic disorders, to fund the care they need now and the research which could change their futures.

Genetic disorders affect 1 in 25 children born in the UK – that’s more than 30,000 babies born each year.

Jeans for Genes Day invites companies and schools across the UK to wear their jeans to work or school in return for a donation.  This year is the charity’s 16th anniversary and to date it has raised £36 million to help change the lives of children with genetic disorders.
